Cornus kousa

Variety is guaranteed with Cornus kousa (Kousa dogwood). After the unfurling leaves, a beautiful bloom follows in spring. In late summer, the reddish-pink fruits become more and more striking.

Then you enjoy a colourful autumn colouration and beautiful structure in winter. An interesting year-round solitair!

There are quite a few varieties in Cornus kousa. The bracts of the blooming Cornus kousa 'Satomi' are a soft pink to pinkish red.
Our most common white varieties are Cornus kousa 'China Girl', 'Milky Way', 'Schmetterling' and var. Chinensis.
